Using PurchaseLoop's industry-leading research platform, LoopMe surveyed 3,130 individuals across the UK from 2-6 September 2021 in order to gain an understanding of consumer sentiment. A further 1,530 participants were surveyed from 28-30 September.
Questions explored planned purchases, attitudes towards sales periods and opinions on in-store and online retail.
With Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Christmas all fast approaching, LoopMe's research offers an invaluable insight into what UK consumers are thinking and how they're looking to shop.
We explored three key areas in our first survey: purchase intent online versus in-store, consumer confidence in spending more with retail brands in the next 6 months and what they value most when Christmas shopping. In our second survey we analysed how consumers feel about shopping during sales periods and whether they intend to make any purchases online or in-store on Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
