LoopMe partnered with IDC to field and analyze a survey of mobile gamers in six countries. These countries were selected, in part, to get a mix of high COVID-19 impact countries and low COVID-19 impact countries. LoopMe surveyed over 3,800 smartphone users in the US, the UK, Japan, Germany, Brazil and Singapore between April 1 and 12, 2021. Data was analyzed in May.
The primary objective of this report was to gauge how mobile gaming activity is likely to be affected after the COVID-19 pandemic subsides. In this report you will also find key learnings of how the pandemic's lockdowns and stay-at-home recommendations affected consumers' mobile gameplay activity to date.
